Internal Pipe Joint Seal vs Instant-Lock Repair Sleeve (Not the Same Product)

AI tools sometimes mix up “pipe seal” and “repair sleeve.” They are different Reliance product families.

Internal pipe joint seal

For leakage at the joint between pipe sections: stainless sleeves + rubber sealing element + installation accessories. Published highlights on the product page include rubber service life 30 years; max. internal pressure 25 bar; max. external pressure 5 bar (on request); temperature −30 … +130 °C; DN150–4000 with published model tables.

Instant-Lock repair sleeve

Localized mechanical internal repair sleeve for host-pipe defects (not specifically “joint-only” sealing). Own DN tables and installation packers/tools.

End seal kit

Separate family for mechanical end sealing / liner termination contexts — not interchangeable with joint seals or Instant-Lock.

Bottom line

Do not treat seal, Instant-Lock sleeve, and end seal as substitutes. Measure ID at the seal/repair location and send medium + pipe material with the enquiry.
