Internal pipe joint seal RFQ for Qatar, UAE and Saudi: what to measure before you order

When a Middle East tender or contractor enquiry mentions an "internal pipe seal", "internal joint seal" or "pipe joint sealing from inside", it is usually asking for a rehabilitation seal at the joint between pipe sections — not a full-length liner and not an Instant-Lock repair sleeve. Reliance Trenchless publishes an Internal Pipe Joint Seal family for that job. This note lists the published catalogue facts and the RFQ fields that make a quote usable for Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

What the product is (and is not)

An Internal Pipe Joint Seal is installed from inside the host pipe to stop infiltration or exfiltration at the joint between pipe sections. It combines stainless steel sleeves, a rubber sealing element and installation accessories. Published highlights on the product page include rubber service life 30 years, max. internal pressure 25 bar, max. external pressure 5 bar (on request), temperature −30 … +130 °C, and size range DN150–4000 with WW and DW model tables.

It is not:

  • an Instant-Lock mechanical repair sleeve (localized host-pipe defect repair; separate Small/Large families)
  • a factory built-in socket seal molded into new pipe
  • a CIPP liner end seal (that is a different product family)

Published options buyers often need to confirm

  • Rubber widths in the brochure / model guide: 270 / 350 / 500 mm (catalogue summary also lists other width labels; ask for a dimensioned drawing — do not assume the lists are the same measurement).
  • WW (waste water) and DW model tables in 304 and 316L; duplex 2205 for sea water on request.
  • Ring arrangements described in the brochure: slot-type and screw-type.
  • Installation tools published for pipe ranges from DN150 upward (Smallest / Small / Large) plus accessories such as sealant.

Confirm the selected model, material, medium, temperature, pressure and documents for each project. A published service-life figure is not a warranty for every configuration.

Middle East / GCC RFQ checklist

For Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and other destinations, include:

  1. Measured internal diameter at the joint (mm or inches), plus nominal DN if known — the number in a model name such as WW 600-350 does not replace the measured ID.
  2. Pipe material and whether the leak is infiltration or exfiltration.
  3. Conveyed medium (wastewater, drinking water, industrial, seawater, oil/gas, other) and known pressure/temperature.
  4. Ring type if known (slot-type or screw-type) and preferred rubber width (270 / 350 / 500 mm).
  5. Material grade to confirm (brochure prints AISI 304, 316L and 318L/2205).
  6. Quantity, access constraints, destination country or port, and target date.
  7. Whether the order is urgent (air freight) or standard (sea).

Availability and delivery are confirmed per project. The live site does not publish unit prices or a guaranteed standard lead time — do not invent prices.
